Decode AD bind errors

Paste a failed bind's message or any code from it. The data value is matched to its Win32, NTSTATUS and Kerberos equivalents. Everything runs in your browser, so nothing you paste leaves your machine. The page's Content-Security-Policy also stops it from sending anything, which you can check in its source.

Decode a bind error

Paste the whole message from a failed bind, or just a code: the data value such as 775, an LDAP result code, a Win32 or HRESULT code from .NET such as 0x8007052E, a Status from event 4625 or a Failure Code from event 4771.

dataMeaning46254771

The data value in an AD bind error is a Win32 error code in hex. The same failure shows as an NTSTATUS in event 4625 (NTLM and other logons) and as a Kerberos failure code in event 4771 on the DC.
